Dearest Six-Pack Wench,

I appreciate your prompt and very descriptive response to my posting! Not only did I receive the information I sought, you added bonus material in the form of dolphins, hours, and greasy sandwiches at 8am! I can't even think of anymore questions to ask.

We are dirty bitches but we pride ourselves in keeping our surroundings clean. Your scenic surroundings have nothing to fear from us and we will be looking forward to meeting you on the 18th for a nice quiet evening of Rott-N-Roll!

Warmest Regards,
Ex-Jockeygrrl

To the person who asked about camping at Pirates Cove..You got two options darlin'...You can camp on the beach, there's a bath house at the Cove..You just have to clean up after yourself or we'll be sickin' the dogs on you..Also, there's a KOA Camp down the road in Lillian, (bout' 6 miles toward the Florida line) where you can call and make reservations for either cabin's or tent space.. Best bet is the beach if yer not wanting to drive, and our advice is, don't.. Bar opens at 8am in the mornings on the weekends for Bloody Mary's and greasy breakfast sandwiches.. Dolphins usually feed through the cut by the bar at 6am if yer wanting a smile and a show before Sun-up.. If you have a boat, you can anchour out in Roberts Bayou, or if it's not over 25 ft, pull up on the beach behind the bar.. Depth goes from 2ft to 9ft within two steps of stepping into the water so yer keel won't drag if you have a small sail boat.. We also don't mind if you camp out in yer car, van, or the back of yer truck..Better than drivin' after a night at the Cove... Hope to see you there..Rott and Roll!!!!!!

Back in LA after a pilgrimage to the two Carolinas. In the middle of an emotional solo journey, I stopped into the Duck Pond and got my dose of soul soothing tonic in the form of Grayson and the band. Magic...tired overused descriptive, but for a cool, mountain night, the only description. And Murly....thanks for singing my song. After this journey, my shoes are clean, but the skeletons in the family armoire have grown skin and voices, for they have told me stories from the Carolinas. Ah, I digress! Thank you, Grayson, for being.

Grayson, OH My GOD, I logged onto your myspace page the other day and heard Arrowhead for the first time...beautiful, just f'in beautiful. I've noticed others writing about it but hadn't actually heard it myself. It stopped everyone in my house, for a moment, just to listen. Keep up the tremendous amount of work you do to add Magic to this world. And to Everett, Good Job, my friend. What a son you've raised. I've got my own boy already on the guitar, writing his own music and reciting poetry. heehaw... Ev, when I first met you, you ole' mystery man, you were just another guy on the bar stool, chasing the women and giving 'em a good chase at that, but , didn't you fool us all. What a poet, what an artist, (my son loves your "girl with boobies" painting), what an advocate for the underdog, ( I know a little more than you know that I do, I once worked for the same damn nutso place that you did, and I know how hard you worked for those people), they fired my outspoken crazy @$$, I'm sure you get it) some people just don't fit in the shoes of the "normal man". And who cares to, anyway. But you, with talents hidden away, a son who you raised to move us all, is perhaps getting the respect you deserve and enjoying those crazy bar nights alittle more. I hope you're gettting the pu**y that you continue to chase, you old rabbit. And thanks to you for raising, "the son of a preacher man" who moves us all. love and once again, Arrowhead,,, way cool song.

Hello Grayson, this is just to tell you how much I enjoyed your (too short but it wasn't your fault!) concert in Piacenza. I see your next dates in Europe are a bit far from Italy. Too bad, let's hope for something closer in the future. I also had a chance to see your Dad and get his autograph on his novel. Thank you so much for givin' me a chance to listen to you live for the first time. Keep it goin' this way!

It was STELLAR seeing my boys at the yoga studio in Houston (albeit a little strange sans alcohol and all)! It was just like the good times, the boat times, the El Matador times. Next time you are in Texas traveling
from Austin to Houston, stop by College Station. We can drink Bailey's from a shoe and I will show you my "downstairs mix-up". Would you like to go to a club where people wee on each other?

PS Can anyone tell me if you can camp/sleep on the beach at Pirate's Cove since there will not even be a remote chance of driving after the show on July 18th?

Hey Guys!
I have some problems to understand the full lyrics of "Graveyard". I love this song very much, and the lyrics are extremely good, but maybe you can help me with two parts of the song:
The first one is the first verse after the refrain: I can't understand the first word. " ??? of my blood, my sweat and my bone, but I killed her with love, so I could be alone"
The second part I can't unterstand is the verse that starts with: "Please show me a sign, everything gonna be alright, that your ??? is death, will soon return to life"

Probably you can help me, thanks anyway!!

greetz from Austria (Europe, I know nobody knows where it is!)

admin's reply : Moritz,
. Don't trust any of the online lyrics, they are usually wrong........ but to help you out- 1st... She was of my blood.....2nd... chrysalis death

Hey Admin,
I have to respectfully disagree with you, in my experience, pleasures are many, dangers are to be disregarded (whenever possible). Hey and sometimes the dangers actually add something to the pleasures. But, I guess that's the hedonist in me.

Wanted to welcome the new admin, I'll miss that lovely admin from Surinam but, I can catch up with her other places. Anyway, new admin, I appreciate your no nonsense style, felt like rock em sock em robots for a little while there.
So now there's a Grayson Capps tribute band, sounds scary indeed.
Have fun at the Duck Pond, wish I could be there, North Carolina's got to be amazing this time of year, certainly not as hot and humid as we are down in NOLA.
See you boys in July, love ya, and Grayson quit sending emails while yer in the van.

Oh one more thing, how come the admin can type f**k and we can't???, is there a special key on the admin's keyboard??

wait a minute, are you Greg, or Not Important? And you most certainly did rag on D. Folgerberg. Your indication was that he was boring and somber. And I suppose incomparison to "the man" he may have been somewhat so. But in his heyday, He was the man. He was simply of a different era, a different sound and sent a different message. But he was a great talent, to be respected, as are all musicians who make it that far in this world. He is now lost to us. I just thought you may want to know that. He left the circuit years ago, but was known for playing great and fun shows locally in the small gritty dives before his death. He was still well loved locally and a huge local tribute was given in his name by many, many musicians. So no harm meant dear, just a piece of news, that perhaps you didn't know. No one compares to Graysons music, I just didn't see the need to put one talent up against another. You're fine, don't be mad. They are all our herors. People who get up on stage and put their heart and soul out there. Moving us with their talents and lyrics. Changing our days from normal to being a part of something special. Making us sing their music as we drive down the road alone, feeling like a part of something bigger than we are. So put that CD in and sing along, loud and hard...

To Not Important, Are you aware of the fact that Dan Folgerberg died last winter. His shows and music weren't Rott-n-Roll, of course, but he was a writer, a poet, a man of words and feeling, a soulful spirit, now lost to this world. He was, of course, a different genre, but that was his choosing and talent. His one Blue Gr@$$ album was a completely different sound. You would not know it Was him. "High Country Snows". To defend one, why belittle another?

Look, first of all there are no concerts where people don't sing along. If you think you are going to one, wake up you naive little man. Second if Mr. Capps didn't like it I'm sure he is 'man' enough to let us know. Third, you're ungratefull a$$hole should know better, your going to a great concert for relatively no money. Might be a good idee for you to bring a portable cd-player that way you can't hear the crowd go wild, which is normal at a concert, you little man.

She had the knowledge about the Paradiso last time. I personally got a kick out of all the people singing along. I had been playing every night for almost five weeks and to have a blow out like that was perfect for me. I played in Holland for a week in much more intimate settings, so for those p!$$ed off few I suggest you try to see me in a more off the wall setting. The Paradiso is just going to get more out of control in the future. I'm bringing the Stumpknockers there in late November. I had a great journey and I met some crazy-wonderful people. Haters, pardon my French, but you seem like a grumpy bunch. Rub the sand out of your, eh.. vaginas and learn to be a bit flexible. Every night has its own atmosphere and mood. The Paradiso gig was a night of beer, an upbeat mood and enjoyment. I loved it!
